Olive is a one year old mixed breed dog adopted from a local
rescue. Recently she started to limp. Upon going to the vet and
having x-rays taken after it was found that she has severe hip
dysplasia. Olive is a young dog with a sweet disposition who can
no longer run and play with her friends as a young dog should be
able to. She has trouble on a daily basis and often doesn't use her
left leg at all but will rather hop around on her right leg only. She
goes for her surgical consult tomorrow, and although she has pet
insurance and her mom (me) has Care Credit, it is suspected she
will need full hip replacements which is still out of her owner's
financial grasp. I've decided to try to sell as many bandanas as
possible to help fund Olive's surgery. She is a sweet dog and
shouldn't have to suffer any longer than she has to.
